Combe House Hotel is very popular place for wedding parties, partly because of its unique location in the heart of the Quantock Hills and partly because of the enthusiasm of the new management to cater for them. We aim to offer fantastic hospitality in a warm and friendly atmosphere allied to a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail - plus, of course, value for money.

The hotel’s size makes it suitable for wedding receptions of up to a maximum of 50 guests, of whom we can sleep up to 30 people, with a four-poster suite for the bride and groom. We also specialise in pre- and post-wedding functions such as evening barbecue roasts on the lawn in summer and smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfasts.

We have no pre-devised wedding packages to choose from. We see our job as being to listen to what the couple want and realise their plans for them down to the very last detail within the budget they have set. But to give you a guide, you can expect to pay around £155.00 per person for a 2 night stay including dinner one evening and breakfast both mornings. Add £7.50 per person per night for superior rooms and £10.00 for suites and Four posters. Wedding Breakfasts Start at £35.00 per person for 3 courses. Cocktails, Drinks package to include Pimms or cocktails on arrival, Champagne for the toast with half a bottle of wine costs £18.95. House wine is £14.50 a bottle.

Anniversaries Birthdays and Reunions

Combe House is the venue for many group events including parties of walkers, an annual cricket club tour, a dog training club, art weeks, anniversaries and other family parties as well as reunions. If you would like to take over the hotel (or just part of it) for your event, please call us to discuss your requirements.

Business Meetings

We can host meetings for up to 20 delegates in the informal setting of our lounge and for up to eight people boardroom-style in our library. Contact us for day delegate and room rates.
