Our chefs use only the finest local produce from a selection of our local award-winning suppliers.
With succulent meats from Exmoor, the freshest of line caught fish from the south Devon Coast or Somerset's finest marsh lamb and cheeses our menus always reflect the best ingredients available accompanied wherever possible by produce from our own mini market garden located within the hotel grounds.
Everything on offer is prepared on site, from fresh bread, to the scrumptious home made ice creams and sorbets used to compliment the mouth watering deserts.

Combe House Kitchen Garden:
Covering approximately 1 acre, our own kitchen gardens provide soft fruits, seasonal vegetables and cut flowers throughout the year. Looked after by Paul Francis, who keeps a keen eye on the jobs that need doing and drafts in other Combe House staff when needed.
Exmoor Fish & Game:
Bob & Barbara have been supplying the trade with specialist produce for years, and provide Combe House with the best of game and tastiest of free range Quantock Duck.
S&C Meats, Taunton:
Regular winner of awards for succulent meats, and their famous ruby red beef from the Somerset/Devon border.
The Thoroughly Wild Meat Company:
Run by Andrew Moore, sole supplier of Somerset Salt Marsh Lamb, an absolute must for those wishing to taste an amazing cut of lamb.
Farmhouse Kitchen:
Based in nearby Williton, Farmhouse Kitchen supply superb meats and sausages from local farmers based on or around the Quantocks, their fantastic sausages and black puddings enhance our breakfasts no end.
A&S Fish, Nether Stowey:
Supplier to Combe House of the freshest seasonal fish from the markets of South Devon and Cornwall. Steve only buys from small independent day boat owners ensuring a great product. His scallops are hand picked from Exmouth and Steve(the proprietor) always calls from the market to advise of the best produce available.
Harveys & Sons, Newlyn, Cornwall:
Family owned shellfish supplier, specialising in the succulent crabmeat. Harveys are simply the best at what they do and have plenty of awards to confirm this.
Brendon Sellick:
the last of the original Somerset shrimp fishermen who sift through the vast stretches of sand. He uses the traditional "mud horse" � a kind of sledge with wooden cross beams. The fishermen load the sledge with their catch, and then lean on the crossbars, scooting the mud horse over the flats that would otherwise drag them down. The catch can consist of eels, cod or sprat but is mainly shrimp and these are sold from Brendon's cottage on the beach.
Free Range Organic Hens Eggs:
Supplied in combination by Peter Williams Eggs, Combe House Chickens (rescued battery hens), and John Tarr who also supplies duck and goose eggs. John welcomes visitors to his smallholding where in the summer he operates a tea rooms and has a viewing gantry to feed the ducks from.
Brendon Hill Crafts:
Formed over 20 years ago as a small cottage enterprise located on the western edge of Exmoor, we purchase their strawberry jam for our cream teas, breakfast marmalades and their famous whortleberry jam made from this most local of hillside fruit.
Quantock Muesli:
Started in 2005, Justine�s Luxury Muesli and associated products have gone from strength to strength and provide our breakfasts with a super healthy option.
Burcott Mill:
Located near Wookey Hole caves and produce Somerset�s only Soil Association accredited traditionally milled wholemeal stone ground flour used to make our freshly baked bread.
